Revenue Ruling PTA037 Paid parental leave has been updated and released as version 2. The update removes the reference to the maximum 18 weeks entitlement period.

This update is due to the recent changes made by the Federal Government to the paid parental leave scheme which increased the entitlement period from 18 to 20 weeks (and to further increase the entitlement period by an additional 2 weeks each year from 1 July 2024 to a maximum of 26 weeks from 1 July 2026).
